We exist to…
Point those with cancer to Jesus as their hope and peace.
Hi, I’m Phil, author of An Astonishing Hope: A 60-Day Devotional for Cancer Sufferers.
Join me in prayer as I inquire of the Lord’s will in starting a non-profit whose mission is to point those with cancer to Jesus as their hope and peace. Specifically, pray as we assemble a board of directors of men and women who love Jesus and have diverse experiences across many types of cancers, countries, and church denominations.
You can support this endeavor by buying my book. All the proceeds of the book will help fund this ministry of hope. You can also Donate to help with ministry startup costs and ongoing video production costs.
Thank you, and may the Lord God strengthen you and be the firm foundation of your hope and peace.

What we’re about…
God-Glorifying, Christ-Centered, Hope-filled Encouragement
When someone is diagnosed with cancer, what they need is healing, the comfort of the Holy Spirit, and loving support from their local church. We exist to help point them to God and the hands and feet of Jesus through God-glorifying, Christ-centered, hope-filled content on popular social media channels. We’ll accomplish this by producing high-quality, professional, hope-filled content along the following categories:
Testimonies of Hope
Testimonies of hope in God from those who have walked with cancer. For example, check out Josh’s story of clinging to God while navigating his diagnoses of stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
30-60 minute podcast-style interviews, posted monthly.
A Word of Hope
Reflections on scripture which bring hope to those with cancer. For example, learn how Phil relied on Isaiah 41:10 for strength early in his diagnoses of stage 3 esophageal cancer.
5-10 minute reflections on scripture for encouragement, posted weekly.
Glimmers of Hope
Short vignettes which seek to plant a seed of hope. For example, see how Jesus is where we should go when fear starts to dominate our thoughts.
1 minute vignettes, posted 2-3 times per week.
Instruction in Hope
Long-form teaching on the theology of suffering for practical matters such as care ministries within the local church.
1-2 hours in length, posted 1-2 times per year.
Called to Suffer
A series dedicated to helping us embrace the joy in God’s good purposes for our cancer. We’ll look at the vocation of the cancer sufferer and how our calling creates meaning and purpose even for something terrible, like cancer. For example, see our call in Acts chapter 1 to be a witness to the ends of the earth, even with suffering before us.
5-10 minute reflections on scripture for encouragement, posted weekly.
Hope-filled content on popular social media channels will characterized our beginnings, but join us in prayer that God would be the one to shape and guide the Board and the trajectory of this ministry. Other avenues of ministry, such as a counseling ministry, church training, and small-group organizing, among others, may be considered in the future as we get feedback and respond to the Lord’s calling.
Help us Bring gospel hope to those who need it most…
Support this gospel ministry by donating today!
Why donate?
Creating high-quality, professional, not-gimmicky, hope-filled video content requires a surprising amount of resources. Additionally, as a non-profit startup, we have significant startup costs. If you believe in what we’re trying to do, please consider supporting this ministry by donating on a monthly basis to help share this gospel hope to as many people as possible.
We’re in process of spinning up a non-profit corporation and applying for 501c3 status and, Lord willing, will be accepting tax deductible donations by the end of 2024. In the meantime, we’re taking tips and recurring donations via Stripe to help us through this startup phase. Use the form to the right to support us today!
